The Royal Prince Harry will play a charity polo match in support to his charity organization, Sentebale, in aid of the orphan and poor children of Lesotho.
Prince Harry is set to play for the Sentebale team in the match at the exclusive Apes Hill Polo Club in Barbados on January 31, 2010 to raise money which helps orphans and vulnerable children in Lesotho.
The inaugural Sentebale Polo Cup in Barbados has brought in British firm Quintessentially Events as its official hospitality host for the event. Quintessentially Events will produce and manage the hospitality, offering ticket holders a VIP drinks reception. Guests will then be invited to a gourmet three-course lunch with wine and champagne prior to the polo match, which will be swiftly followed by an auction to benefit Sentebale.
Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso will launch the Sentebale Polo Cup to raise funds to support more of Lesotho’s vulnerable children.
Kedge Martin CEO of Sentebale said: “We are incredibly excited to be launching The Sentebale Polo Cup at the Apes Hill Polo Club. Our plans for the future are ambitious but absolutely necessary; events like this are crucial to support our work in Lesotho”.
