Prince Harry Arrived Arctic for Walking With Wounded Expedition

Prince Harry landed in arctic to join wounded servicemen for Walking with the wounded charity. Prince Harry will meet with four wounded soldiers on Tuesday. Two charity founders and a polar guide to begin training.

Prince Harry will take part on 200 mile trek to the north pole. Harry will participate in a three day training session at Spitsbergen island, Svalbard archipelago and after that he will fly to Borneo ice airfield for five-days expedition where he will sleep out in ice and drag a 220lb sled in temperatures around -40C.

Walking with wounded charity expected to raise 2 million GPB to help injured marines and servicemen and women.

In his interview on his arrival, he said: “It was ‘truly an honour’ to be joining the servicemen. I admire them so much”.

“These guys, they’re not just doing it for themselves, they’re doing it for all their mates and all their comrades who have come back or are still coming back from Afghanistan or Iraq”.
