Football crazy Princes, Prince Harry and Prince William, will join 60,000 English fans in South Africa during FIFA Worldcup 2010. It will be a great boost for England’s World Cup campaign next year.
27-year-old Prince William who is the Football Association’s president as well, will play an important role trying to support Britain’s bid to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup (Watch Prince William Worldcup 2018 campaign video).
On other hand Prince Harry, 25-year-old, will try to get some charity for Sentebale there to help kids orphaned by the disease. Lesotho, the small Aids-plagued country neighbouring South Africa.
A Source told The Sun: “Prince William and Prince Harry love football and are keen to be there to support England, but also see this as the perfect opportunity to focus attention on Lesotho. They are also expected to play in a football match in Lesotho.”
Both princes who are currently busy with their pilot training courses are expected to be given off to attend the event.
A source said: “Plans are still being drawn up, but both princes will be given time off from their military duties to attend.”
The princes brothers will also celebrate Prince William’s 28th Birthday during the tour.
“It will be a working trip, but there will also be a chance for them to enjoy themselves.”
