Men’s magazine Esquire named Prince Charles as the “World Best Dressed Man” beating all young heart throbes including US President Barack Obama.
“He is perfectly turned out in a double-breasted suit. Admirably, the prince keeps his wardrobe in appropriate style. We are told he has a room laid out like a tailor’s shop”, the Esquire magazine said.
Esquire Magazine said Prince Charles is always “Incredibly well dressed”.
60 year old Prince Charles keeps it simple and has worn suits by Saville Row tailors Gieves and Hawkes, complete with pocket handkerchief and silk tie, for years.
Top 10 list includes President Obama – who came 4th in list, Artist David Hockney came 7th, Tennis Player Roger Federer stood at 8th position and American Rapper Andre 3000 came at 10th.
However, British Prime Minister Gorden Brown was named one of the “worst dressed man”.
London Mayor Boris Johnson – renowned for his slightly chaotic appearance – was also criticised for having “jacket pockets like second-hand bookshops, and hair the result of an encounter with a ghost in a wind tunnel”.
