Prince of Wales, Prince Charles with Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla are set to visit Canada next month from 2nd November to 12th November.
During their visit Prince Charles and Camilla will visit 12 cities in four provinces including St. John’s, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Victoria and offcourse Vancouver. Prince Charles has visited Canada 15 times, but first official visit after 2001. This will be his first official visit with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, after couple get married in 2005.
Details of the trip were released by the Canadian prime minister’s office yesterday which show the couple will be in Canada from November 2nd through 12th.
Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said: “The visit by Their Royal Highnesses is a great honour for Canadians. It will allow all of us, particularly young people, an opportunity to learn more about the heritage and traditions of which we are all proud.”
Queen Elizabeth II remains Canada’s monarch and is represented in Canada by Governor General Michaelle Jean. She is also set to visit Canada in 2010, with the Duke of Edinburgh.
However, The exact dates of the visit which will be the queen’s 25th since she ascended to the throne in 1953, have not yet been revealed.
