People of Wales are given the chance to wish Prince William and Kate Middleton on their marriage by leaving wedding messages in a congratulation books. The books are available from April 18 to until 6 May.
People of Wales can left their messages at Welsh Assembly Government offices in Cathays Park, Cardiff, the Senedd in Cardiff Bay, Llandudno, Aberystwyth and Merthyr.
Carwyn Jones, the First Minister said its a unique way for Wales to mark this historic occasion. He said: “The books will then be compiled into a suitable volume to present to the newlyweds after the wedding”.
Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas, Assembly Presiding Officer, said: “As Prince William and Catherine Middleton are living on Ynys Mon, and will continue to enjoy their early married life together here, it is most appropriate that the people of Wales have this opportunity to wish them well personally.”
